Озимандий

Мне повидавший древние края
Сказал: из камня две ноги колосса
В песках пустыни выжженной стоят.
Там рядом лик разбитый: абрис носа,
Тирана хладный взор, улыбки яд –
Все страсти, что увидел скульптор в нём,
Ещё живут, хоть ночь тех унесла,
Кто их ваял и кто был их рабом.
На пьедестале текст прочтёт идущий:
«Я – Озимандий, царь царей, дела
Мои узрев, отчайся Власть Имущий!»
Но ничего вокруг, лишь только он –
Величия обломок и зыбучий,
Покинутый песок со всех сторон.
